DC’s Dating Coach, James Norton (a.k.a. Brother James and formally of Professional Pickup), for more than 3 years, has been building his reputation and experience as a preeminent dating coach. He has been featured on MSNBC, Today Show, This Week, Washington Post Magazine, and countless other publications. He is the dating and pickup coach in DC for men.
James’ philosophy goes beyond just dating
James’ teaching revolves around the idea that a person needs to work on understanding and enhancing his or her “whole self” – increasing self-confidence, embracing an active lifestyle, committing to honesty – in order to start and develop real relationships. James also believes in simplifying the dating process through teaching basic elements of attraction, approach, conversation, and intention.
Through the coaching relationship, James works with clients to help them recognize and then reject self-limiting beliefs in order to help bring out their true, attractive self. This style of teaching allows each student to incorporate the principals of dating into their own personality and approach to meeting new people.
Well respected
Based on his success and reputation in the dating and pickup artist industry, James has been acknowledged as one of the rising stars of the industry and has been asked to speak at industry conferences across the country for the past two years.
Background
James is a long time D.C. resident and professional. An accountant by trade, James has developed a large network of friends, acquaintances, business partners, work associates, and mentors based on his philosophy on all relationships. He believes that all friendships should be built with solid connections and centered on honesty and trust. And that good relationships stem from the principles of good friendships.
Prior to his entry into the dating industry, James was a leader of spiritual rites of passage, helping individuals focus on removing personal shields and discarding self-limiting beliefs in order to grow anew. The skills and experiences gained from these spiritual journeys have helped James connect with clients and have given him the ability to help clients overcome their fears and insecurities.
James has lived in DC close to 11 years, sits on the board for a soccer non-profit, and is the president of his tenants association.
